The room was very clean, Breakfast was not great! There was very little choice, this was the 3rd hotel that I had stayed in during my trip and the worst Breakfast..you had to ask the member if staff for more coffee and it felt like you were imposing on them. The hotel itself is lovely but the area is very rough. Every cafe I went into advised me to put my bag in front of me and look out for pick pockets.

The location was excellent and very central to Amalfi. Be aware that walking to and from the hotel can feel dangerous due to the narrow, busy road. While it’s only a short taxi ride into town, walking is often the only alternative. The hotel was clean, and the housekeeping staff were consistently friendly. Breakfast (€10) was a good value with a nice selection, and since there are few nearby options, I’d recommend having breakfast there. Unfortunately, our experience with the service declined as the week went on. We were welcomed warmly at first, but by the end of our stay, all six of us felt unwelcome. Outside food and drinks are not permitted, yet the bar offered limited options. The bartender often seemed annoyed, and even asking for ice was met with eye rolls. The hotel sold us bus tickets when we arrived, then later commented that we were using them too much. We were also told we should have booked directly with the hotel instead of Expedia.ca. Despite this, our group remained polite and friendly throughout our stay and didn’t let the experience overshadow an amazing trip to the Amalfi Coast.

The staff was spectacular. Thanks to all at the front desk hope to see you next year thank you for making our stay so enjoyable we hated to leave.

The check-in process was completely lacking. I stood outside for over an hour emailing calling and trying to get lit in the door. It says the front office is open, but you have to know how to get in the door. Apparently you have to use the keypad and click on one of the options that was available. But nowhere was that in the directions and the phone number to call the reception area was not taking phone calls and no one ever responded to my emails so I spent almost 2 hours standing outside until other people came along and let me in. Absolutely ridiculous!
