An amazing fall weekend staying in this beautiful home, one which exceeded our expectations! It was clean and well-appointed and truly made us feel as if we were "home away from home". The neighborhood was quaint and within walking distance to a park, a train depot, restaurants, coffee shops, a yummy candy shop, and the lake. This house is in a perfect location. Easy walk into town where there are shops and restaurants and close to the beach (although we were there in October). The house was super clean and had everything you would need. We did not use the kitchen but it was well stocked with plenty of cookware, etc. The coffee bar with fresh ground coffee from the local shop along with K cups was a nice touch and delicious. Our location was fantastic, about a 3-5 minute walk to downtown and the beach, and the house was extremely clean and just as advertised. The only downside was the lack of a lamp sufficient to read by in the living room, necessitating having to read at the dining room table or in bed, with the overhead and night stand lamps on. Adding one would be my only suggestion. This was our first stay in Vermilion, and we would definitely return. ##### beth b. Beds comfy and owners have stocked house with many extra things to make your stay amazing! (Beach towels, chairs, cooler, coffee, makeup wipes, etc). Only two things I would change- keep a can of cooking spray for guests to use (I think they had one last year, but not this this year and it’s just one of those things I always forget to bring for cooking!) and changing the door code after each stay. I noticed the code was laminated on the house instructions so to me that meant it was the same which made me slightly uneasy knowing anyone whose stayed there could potentially access the house still.
