Beautiful, traditional Venetian style rooms with the kindest most helpful staff and owner. The location is great and the breakfast was delicious. Can’t say enough how lovely both the owner and the staff were, would definitely recommend!

Very central location, yet nicely tucked away. easy access for taxi boat drop/pickup. Alessandra and staff were great, super accommodating and always smiling. The place was decorated beautifully! Would surely come back.

Just returned from an amazing 3 nights in Venice. Alessandro and her team were simply amazing at making us feel welcome and looked after. All communication prior to our stay, including directions to the hotel and tourist tax exemptions etc, were absolutely spot on. The rooms have been decorated in true Venetian style and were beautifully maintained. I simply can’t praise this hotel enough and would highly recommend for couples or solo travellers Thankyou for a wonderful stay

The Scalon del Doge was an amazing experience! Situated in a 600 year old building, the service was stellar, the rooms opulent, and the breakfasts plentiful and delicious. The staff helped us arrange taxis, outing agendas, and more. The perfect place to stay in Venice!

Great location, unique property, with very attentive staff. Breakfast is scheduled so if you have an early tour scheduled you won't have access to the full menu options. On the plus side, staff will provide a kettle, tea, decaf coffee, fruit, and sandwiches in the minifridge.

I spent hours and hours researching places to stay in Venice… Scalon del Dolge was the winner! I definitely made the right decision - it exceeded my expectations and looked even prettier in real life! Alessandra is just the sweetest person and her attention to detail is evident in everything - from the rooms and decor, to the breakfast, to the cleanliness of the place and her willingness do anything possible for you. Even the check in service was above and beyond. We did the tour with Alessandra and found it to be very interesting and the best tour we’ve done in Italy (and we’ve done quite a few across multiple cities). If I could give Scalon del Doge 10 out of 10 - that is what I give it 😀

This small boutique type property is a real gem located in the heart of Venice, close to the famous Rialto bridge on a very charming water way. It’s like something out of a movie with a very unique Venetian flare. I really felt like I was ported back in time. The staff are very hands on providing excellent service. You are treated like family and feel right at home. Staff are eager to help with a smile, very genuine. It’s obvious they all take pride in what they do. The property is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with lots of great options. I really loved the cappuccino & croissants. I look forward to returning to this gem of a property one day.

This was an excellent location in the middle of everything! Easy to see all the great sites and still quiet at night. Alessandra was such an amazing resource to help with transfers, directions for sites, etc. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

I can’t recommend this properly enough. The staff were so responsive pre and during. Our last day we were busy packing and didn’t make it to breakfast but the host came knocking on the door and brought some breakfast to us!!! Always helpful and smiling. Also, the room was very clean and well laid out, with comfy beds and great air conditioning, plus love the water pressure. The decor gave that true Venice feel. We were a family of 4 / mom and 3 older kids. (13 - 21). We all loved this location and felt safe. Thank you for an amazing experience. ❤️🇮🇹

Superb stylishly renovated boutique hotel in the heart of Venice . You feel like royalty staying in this small hotel both from the decoration of the rooms and the quality of service . If you are coming from the airport catch a private water taxi which stops just outside the hotel. Walkable from the train station. Great continental breakfast.
