"This medieval mansion is wonderfully located. You get personal service from the property, unlike most hotels. It is a family run business. Rooms are in excellent condition. Had the best breakfast! It is located across the river from Avignon. You get great, unobstructed views of the Papal Palace. I wouldn't stay anywhere else for visiting Avignon. This place was perfect!"

"Avignon is a fantastic place to visit, and I am glad I was able to take my wife there to see it (I had visited it before, 40 years ago). La Banasterie was beautiful, clean, comfortable, safe and literally steps away from the major sites in Avignon. The owners were extremely helpful, even helping me figure out how to retrieve and item I left on the train. If we ever visit again, I would not hesitate to stay in this same location."
