"What an amazing little hotel. Hotel Europe sits up above Argostoli just 10mins walk from the square. It is up quite a hill, but its definitely worth the walk when you see the view from your balcony! Maria on Reception is so lovely. "nice hotel in a quiet beach area away from the port, although conveniently walkable along the seafront path. Please note I was upgraded to a room in the hotel rather than the room I booked so this is not a review of the basic garden room. This hotel did try to get credit card details from me "for security" despite having paid in full, in advance, but to their credit when I challenged it they did back down."

"Great property spread across the hillside overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed the many pools that were available, some are more private than others. Dinner was great at both restaurants with excellent food. The staff were friendly and we always got assistance when asked. The drive down the hillside to the resort takes some patience and skill but it didn’t affect our vacation. Excellent beach access with restaurant and chairs."
