The condo is super cute and very cozy. Checking into the condo was totally seamless and easy. It was very clean and comfortable, and had all the basic necessities, from pots and pans to towels etc. Wifi was fast and reliable. Outside noise is moderate, maybe a little noisier during rush hour. There was very little noise from the neighbors.The unit does not have central air conditioning, but there was a portable air conditioner strong enough to cool the whole apartment. Vancouver summers are usually mild so you’ll probably never need it. The supermarket, drug store and Starbucks are less than two short blocks away. There’s a small convenience store across the street for snacks and such. There’s also a small cafe nearby. The ferry to the public market on Granville Isle is steps away. The ferry ride across the bay takes less than five minutes.The bike path to the Stanley Park Sea Wall runs directly in front of the condo, and the pedestrian walkway to the beach is nearby as well.This isn’t a ding against the condo at all, but it’s worth noting that the building sits at the bottom of a very steep hill for about three blocks north to south. If you have health or mobility issues you may want to take that into consideration before booking. Obviously if you’re renting a car then it really doesn’t matter.Luckily there are public e-bikes and scooters literally in front of the building.I had a great time here. Many thanks to the owners.
