I felt bad for the employee at the check-in desk. There was no manager onsite (and no one else at the front desk) and the person in front of me checking in had a challenging problem. I had to wait 15 minutes or more to check in because of that. Our bathroom shower was not cleaned well before checkin or during our stay. One of the side doors was left unlocked because there was an issue with the room keys unlocking it for entry.

Hotel is renovated but severely outdated. Room was not properly cleaned when I arrived, showing evidence of previous guests. Dirt and dust collected heavily in a lot of easily visible places. Sink stopper was broken with some foreign material lodged in the drain. The only working elevator is sketchy. TV is old and was lacking a remote.
Hotel is nicely located. Was able to walk to quite a few good restaurants and parks. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

"We’ve stayed here many times in the past (~ 4 or 5 times per year) but we were a little disappointed in our room this trip. The microwave didn’t work and there were a couple of large wet areas of carpet. The room smelled musty. There is also a shortage of hot water in evenings but not in the morning. ..."
