"Clean room, easy check in. The kitchen was under renovation so no breakfast so that was kind of a bummer. Close a bunch of different good options, great proximity to downtown grand rapids. Would stay again."

"This place needs to be condemned. The pictures posted are not recent. The place has had touches throughout the building but doesnt account for the number of repairs it needs. There was a power outage during my stay, the manager promised if we checked out we would receive a full refund. That was a lie. I checked out and had to pay for another hotel last minute. 12 other guests were complaining about the power outage as well as the condition of their rooms / building. This place is disgusting."

"We arrived at check in time and was told we had to wait for our king room to be finished cleaning. I think we waited 10 minutes no problem we understood. Then when we got to our room there was a terrible odor. Than there were no fitted sheets on the bed it was a flat sheet that had stains all over it. Luckily we brought or own. The staff was friendly but if our keys would not work to get in after closing the front desk attendants would not even help us. Also the instructions to use the elevator with our keys were very vague and we had to end up taking the stairs a few times because the elevator would not read our keys."

"Mid breakfast, all of the staff is outside smoking, a whole group, while there’s a line at the desk, we’re out of plates and silverware, and the whole place is packed. Rooms are dirty. We had to wear shoes in the room because there were wet seeping stains all over the carpet, everywhere. Only one of the mattresses had an encasement on it, which made me nervous, but I did a thorough search and didn’t find any bedbugs so that’s good. There’s no drain for the bathtub, which was complicated with a toddler. Pool is OK, it’s on the fifth floor, and there was a shelf that looked like it was for pool towels with no pool towels but we were able to get extra towels at the front desk."
