We had a great stay at La Villa. We spent 4 days bicycling and our rental company was able to coordinate drop off and pick up without us needing to be involved. They had a storage area for our bikes. Location was away from the crowds but close enough to walk to all of the sites. Breakfast was excellent.

Stunning breakfast options available, both à la carte and buffet. Rooms are well appointed. Water included in the room is confusing-it’s not clear if there is a charge. Same as slippers and flip flops. Surely they don’t reuse them. Soaps by dyptique are a treat while staying there. Rooms a big and clean and the bed is comfortable. Pillow preference was accommodated. Staff helped with taxi and direction options. Spa was lovely, included, however hot tub jets didn’t work. Staff overly accommodated for strike option. Travelled with guests whose breakfast was provided before they left for the airport, despite breakfast not opening yet. Beautiful decor throughout the property. Would definitely return. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

"A lovely old hotel. We were upgraded to a large suite. As the seasons were changing, the cooling system was no longer functioning and it was very stuffy. Its location close to the main train station meant that it was very noisy all night and our window was very close to the street with loud talking ..."
