Beautifully maintained property in a great location.

The main restaurant was hit or miss, sometimes open, sometimes closed. The rooms are nice and the valet staff is super helpful.

The room was strange and a disappointment. I have never spent so much time trying to figure out lighting and connections. What switch works where? What do you have to have on before something else will turn on? The bedside lights were amber, which was gloomy. There were ceiling lights, which were too far away to provide reading light and were not individually switched; both stayed on together. TV was glitchy with some channels working and some not. It offered streaming, but that never worked. There was an onscreen message asking how my stay was going. I replied with a frowny face and was informed someone would be contacting me shortly. No one ever did. I hated the bed sheets. Everything was tucked in and when pulled them out, everything came out. No fitted sheets!! The pillows were all soft and non- supportive. I like firm and am used to an assortment. Some things were designed poorly. The window coverings were difficult to operate. I was afraid I was going to break the rods used to open and close. The bathroom faucet was too low. It was difficult to wash your hands without hitting it. The bathroom doors were large and weird. The staff were universally nice and helpful. Common areas were beautiul. I was looking forward to a stay in a high class hotel, but no. Disappointed and frustrated. The office chair was broken-didn't go up and down. Poor design with window coverings

Great location in downtown Asheville - many bars and restaurants walkable. Welcoming and friendly staff, lovely room for breakfast and a good offering with baked goods, egg bakes, overnight oats, yogurt and fresh fruit - endless supply of fresh coffee!
