I typically enjoy Aloft. This particular location had hair, roaches and crickets in the bathroom (we have pictures). When brought to manager's attention, he had opportunity to make it right, but chose to send me a handful of Marriott points instead.
Unfortunately this reflects poorly on the brand reputation.
I understand one can't always control the bugs, but a manager can take action to make it right with the customer and protect the brand.
