"Due to the weather (snowing 🌨️ ), I could not explore the nearby places but I really enjoyed staying and relaxing this place. Hot springs were amazing! And wonderful diner and breakfast!! I ate too much on the trip prior to this place and problem finishing my plates😭 I wanted to eat them all since looked and tasted superior… just my stomach could not take them. So I have to go back again someday in better condition!"

"The hotel is situated up in the mountain and built right next to hill side. A great place to relax and just unwind closed to the nature. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. "The room was spacious, but going up and down from the bunk bed was inconvenient. It would be better if the big table was taken away and replaced it w/ twin beds. The big table could be dangerous as someone can get injured by the pointed edges. Also, the bathroom was rather small and its floor was noisy when you step on it."

"Partner and I shared a room - quite a small space, but totally comfortable for a couple nights! Everything was very clean and tidy, and staff were very friendly. There was a smart TV in the room, and good wifi. They make a good effort for eco-friendliness too! It’s literally a 1-2 minute walk to Aizuwakamatsu Station, and there are plenty of places to eat in the vicinity. They also offer a complimentary breakfast buffet which is lovely! "

"This was absolutely one of the worst trips I have ever done. Hotels.com help contribute to this. Not so great experience. Both the hotels.com and the resorts websites provided false information. The conditions were so bad that I landed up leaving a day early. I had to take someone to the hospital due to the dirtiness. I did not get refunded and I was actually charged more than what was expected. The location was great and the staff was great but they were unforgiving when it came to providing a refund or understanding the situation. Do not recommend this place unless you don't mind old worn down overcharged definitely not a two-star hotel resorts. One note you will have to pay for everything even if it says all exclusive."

"If you are looking to experience how Japanese travel, sleep on tatami rooms and eat a good selection of Japanese food. Then this hotel is a good choice. Your room includes a breakfast and dinner buffetes and most people wear the colorful yukata provided by the hotel. The property is a bit out of date but the public bath is quite nice. Transportation into the city is limited and taxi is about $20 USD"
