There is a selection of onsens including the opportunity to hire private ones for those who aren’t confident of sharing more public pools. This is a beautiful onsen, with a variety of different type of waters, pools on the edge of the river. We stayed in the Japanese room which is always spacious and comfortable. Do yourself a favour and do the half board (or dinner) it will be one of the best meals you may have ever eaten.
