"Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were all very friendly. The boardwalk is not well lit at all, as in you need a flashlight to walk when the sun goes down. They may consider adding some solar lights or something to create a little more of a safety feature. The pet walk area is very small, but it was still nice that they allow pets. "

"Not my best La Quinta stay, but I’ll start with what I always like about LaQ’s; the cleanliness! You can count on your room and property being clean, amazing staff, bright white sheets, no broken or squeaky beds, the water is hot and the pressure great, the appliances always work, and you can just count on a La Quinta (IMHO). Additional perk for this specific property was the privacy and seclusion of the location, plenty of green with access to sidewalks — perfect for traveling with a dog. But the room I was in didn’t have soap, and it was no problem getting a bar from the front desk, but later realized there was no shampoo or conditioner either. Then the bathtub stopper was broken. 👎 The tv is..old tech, pixelated and squished, and you can’t access the menu to fix it - normally LaQ’s are letting you sign into your own streaming accounts. There were a few crayons on the floor? Mostly bummed about the bath with what I paid for the room, and where is the soap? No soap is weird for any hotel"

"The property is under renovation so several amenities were not available and our toilet was not flushing properly. We had to call front desk twice. Maybe it would be better after renovation is completed."

"After reading the reviews and seeing the rating, I wasn't expecting much. I wasn't disappointed. For me, the oceanfront location made up for what the facilities lacked in appearance. This place offers a great oceanfront view at a reasonable price, in comparison to other beachfront properties. This is not a place of luxury. You get decent accommodations (my bathroom was in need of a reno), at a decent price. Expect quiet during the week with a more noisy crowd on weekends. The staff was always helpful and I enjoyed my stay."

"Check in time ‘started’ at 4:00 pm; was not able to check in until 5:00 pm; however, we were able to go ahead and get a parking pass and go out to beach. A/C very noisy but was able to keep room at 70, but no lower. No cups or soap in room; bath room not very clean. Beach area was great. "
