excellent location & delicious food at the restaurant Friendly staff

Our room was decently sized and the air conditioning was a big plus. Good location and friendly staff. The included breakfast buffet was excellent

The best part of this hotel is the breakfast! Really, really amazing! The rest was not good. The location is central and close to many things, but the road outside the building is super noisy. We did not have a window in our room - it was a door to a shared balcony, and it was very weird hearing other guests hang out there. Since there was no AC and it was super hot, we had to sleep with a slightly open balcony door and a window to get some air but it was super noisy and we did not get good sleep at all. It honestly felt like a student dorm with this sharing style. We paid appx.750usd per night, which is extremely overpriced for what we were getting. If I were to come back to Lucerne, I would try to stay at a hotel with a lake view for a more peaceful sleep. All in all, i believe there are better hotels in Lucerne than this one.

The location of the hotel is great and very convenient for exploring the city. Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning. My room remained around 80°F (27°C) throughout the day and never became comfortable, making it difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep. I also was surprised that there were no self-service ironing or steaming facilities available, and guests had to pay for pressing services instead. I also found the staff to be rather cold and not especially welcoming or accommodating. When I asked for restaurant recommendations, I was only directed to an Italian restaurant affiliated with the hotel. After requesting additional suggestions, they were unwilling to offer any other options, which was disappointing given that there are many great restaurants in the area. Because of these issues, I ended up leaving earlier than planned and chose to eat at the airport instead. While the location is a definite advantage, the lack of comfort, limited guest amenities, and indifferent service made this stay fall well below my expectations.
