Worst EXPERIENCE Ever...1st The staff is the real MVP's at this property, very friendly and professional. Top- tier👍.. HOWEVER This place really need to just close down, it's pretty much a "ghost resort".... The food is disgusting n dangerous, we had a meal at Smokey Bones as well as a salad that made us physically ILL. The elevators do work properly with the key cards, the chipped wood around the fridge caused us to get splinters. the furniture in is so nasty n dirty...we were afraid to touch it... I heard numerous guest , sharing their disgust and confusion n sadness over the lack of services available at this resort that charges 11. 20/day..This was my last stay at Samstown😢..the excellent service, laughs n smiles shared with the staff over the 20 + yrs will be missed....not sure why it's still representing an 8.4 rating , it has to be the service the staff provides in spite of the property declining condition... it's definitely not for a resort style experience....
