It is a very old resort undergoing renovation but the room I had was offensive. Trouble getting ac started, tv control was not fully functional, no hot water in the shower, trade materials lying around everywhere, no community facilities were operational. Danger do not go there

Great location and apartment complex was really nice.
Apartment 33 was great, could just use a few updates within the apartment. There wasn’t enough cutlery and what there was, wasn’t great. Could also use some updated cooking utensils and the dishwasher didn’t really clean the dishes.
Overall the apartment was great and comfortable, easy fixes.

I selected property as it was a reasonable price for Cairns and in a good location as I was travelling for work. Room was definitely clean and comfortable, unfortuantely my room backed onto what appeared to be a work site and it was very noisy first thing in the morning.
I was within walking distance to be able to pick up some dinner which was very handy as the hotel itself does not offer options for dinner onsite

This hotel has just been taken over by new owners the staff were saying, so are putting a lot of money into it to get it up to 4 star. The staff were so helpful, my room was great ,and with the improvements it'll only get better. What a location too, loved we were looking out over the ocean, and an easy walk into town. I'll definitely be staying here again when I come back.
