The property was undergoing a major expansion in the early construction stage, but a significant effort was obvious to shield, and make safe, the front outdoor amenity area from the construction area. There were no adverse effects on the running of the hotel. On arrival at the car park, work was ongoing to maintain the gardens and outside wall plastering/painting - this was positive. The room and public areas were clean and well-run - parts had that “old school comfort” feel.
