The room was clean, staff was great, breakfast was very good.

The staff were amazing as I locked my key in my room twice, the pool being 24 hours was a treat after busy days. The breakfast was good and was great that we could start the day without everyone having to wonder where we are going.

I would stay again nice location if you have kids

I stayed at two of the Margaritaville resorts inside Pigeon Forge previously. Both of which were very nice and very clean. One of the best overall experiences I’d had staying at a hotel. Naturally, I expected an even better experience with the Lodge and Resort. For starters, if you book through the resort, there is usually a minimum of 3 nights stay. We were looking to only stay 1 night, so Hotels.com was the best option for us. upon check-in the lady working the front desk ask for a card to put on file for the $35 resort fee since I booked through Hotels.com. I originally thought all the fees had already been paid but apparently not. Which is fine, however, it was just how she said it. It was almost as if I had done something wrong but not booking directly through them. Our room was very hot when we walked in the thermostat said it was 76° in the room but it was set at 66°. We asked the front and was told all of the rooms have motion sensors for the a/c to come on. Doesn’t sound like too much of an issue, but none of us could sleep because of how hot our room was. After several hours in the room it only cooled to 71°. I went to the front desk at midnight to ask if they had a fan. The only option they had was to move us to another room which I appreciate them offering, but that room was 76° when I went in as well. Our room was above the restaurant they had on site and it smelled like old grease in the hotel. Overall, definitely not with the money. Will not stay again.

The room cleaning staff did a good job with what they had to work with, but the shower curtain was ripped, dirty & needed to be replaced. The water pressure was very low in the shower. Toilet handle was loose & caused it to stick and keep running. Our room smelled like smoke! It does have a nice view of the river & close to everything.
