One thing is I think the vacuum was broken and the cleaning service didn’t realize it. There were pieces of Dorito chips on the carpet and the vacuum would not pick them up. It was little bit of a musky smell when we first got there but we opened the place up and it was fine in a few hours. Overall, we had a great time and it was a beautiful place to stay! Wow! I was proud of this little gem! Didn’t have much interaction with staff but when I did, they were friendly and helpful! Those little sugar packets in cellophane for coffee are just teasers, lol. Even though it sat next to a busy highway traffic sound was not an issue. My room was clean and cozy! My bed was comfy and my two small dogs were welcome. Fixtures in the bathroom reminded me of my grandparents homes and good memories. Simpler living. What you see is not what you get, there’s more! Meaning, behind the rooms is a little oasis of picnic tables, hammocks, fire pits and areas for relaxing to enjoy nature! Oh, they also provide waste bags for pets and disposal box. If you enjoy feeling like you’ve come home, this is for you! Thank you Sunset Motel!
