"The best thing about the property was the space. Both bedrooms were large, each one had it's own mini-split for customized comfort, the beds and pillows were firm and comfortable, and the extra half bathroom was super convenient. Everything was very new and functioned well, except for the internet, which got better after a router reset. The minor annoyances: there was a smell of stale cigarettes on several of the extra pillowcases in the bedroom, there were (presumably dead) gnats stuck to the bathroom ceiling, and I always find it annoying to pay extra money for a house (versus a hotel), and then be asked to strip the sheets, put all the linens in the washer, load the dishwasher, etc. I always leave a tidy place, but doing part of the housekeeping is never required at a hotel, so I never understand why so many rentals ask for it. The "buyer beware": 1) the house next door to this one is... interesting. It's mostly fenced in and they never bothered us or got loud or anything, but its untidy appearance was a little disconcerting to two women traveling without their spouses. 2) If data privacy is an issue for you, the management company's verification process may bother you. They require an upload of a drivers' license (or similar) to a separate third-party vendor, a live-camera face check, and their privacy policy says they can hold on to it for up to 3 years unless you request deletion. I just did that, but who knows how long it will take and how fully it will be done."

"It was a peaceful and quiet stay in this wonderful retreat. We loved the deck overlooking the wooded area. So relaxing to have coffee in the morning.So close to downtown Brevard but felt miles away. We will absolutely return. Lovely plants around the front entrance. It was a treat to see deer roaming."
