About Babbling Brook cottage: The cascading stream and waterfall view make this cottage the perfect retreat. The cottage overlooks a beautiful stream cascading down the mountain. The water cascades down the waterfall then down the brook over moss covered rocks, creating wonderful sounds of rushing water as it flows behind the cottage. A gas log stove will keep you warm on a brisk fall evening or winter day. Cable TV and a Video Library will make your stay enjoyable. Don't let the lower rates fool you. We have very NICE accommodations, refreshingly cleanly kept and most of our guests turn into repeat guests! Many have been coming for many years/several times a year and will for generations to come! The hot tub was wonderful and the area was very peaceful and quiet. The bear carvings were really cool and it’s just a short trip to town when you need something. The house was perfect, the location was perfect, and our weekend was perfect. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to the nice blanket of snow on the ground. Enjoyed being able to have our furry friends with us and the convenience of the fenced yard. Loved the hot tub after long days of mountain hiking and exploring. Our first visit to the Babbling Brook Cabin was wonderful, and we hope to come back! The owners were very helpful and kind! The cabin itself was very clean and nicely furnished. We had everything we needed and more. Loved, loved the convenient location. Can't wait to go back in a little warmer weather and enjoy the amazing porches and outside spaces.
