9.2/10 Wonderful! (568 reviews)
Extremely disappointing stay — not what I expected from Meliá
I stayed at Brasil 21 Suites by Meliá for 14 days and had to change rooms THREE different times. Two of the rooms were completely different from what I had reserved and were unacceptable for an extended stay.
One room was extremely noisy, another had visible mold/staining on the walls, and the rooms generally felt outdated and poorly maintained. The TVs were outdated, walls were dirty and clearly needed a fresh coat of paint, and the air conditioning did not work properly in one of the rooms. There were also maintenance and bathroom issues that should not be happening at a hotel of this level.
What made this even worse was the attitude of much of the staff. Service was inconsistent, and several interactions felt rude and dismissive. There was very little sense that anyone genuinely cared about resolving the problems or making the stay comfortable.
Unfortunately, these issues don’t appear to be isolated. Recent guest reviews also mention mold/stale smells, outdated rooms, maintenance and drainage problems, inconsistent housekeeping and poor follow-up when issues are reported.
Having to repeatedly pack and move rooms during a 14-day stay is simply unacceptable.
This is a Meliá property, and we expected much more. The brand creates an expectation of quality, cleanliness, maintenance and professional service that this hotel simply did not deliver.
I would not stay here again.

7.6/10 Good! (1,019 reviews)
"I would not recommend this hotel. The reviews made it seem like a reasonable option for the price, but my experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was the internet, which was extremely poor and unreliable. In a city like Brasília, where many guests travel for business, good internet is essential. ..."
