« Good bed, quiet street. I would stay here again. There was a vintage charm to the place (very Mayberry!), and I found it to be everything I needed. I was a guest author in for a book signing at Pages Books & Coffee, and this spot was perfectly situated to make it easy to get to the bookstore. »

« Jodee was super communicative, the views and atmosphere were superb, and we enjoyed every minute. Convenient parking, huge soaker tub, well maintained hot tub, comfortable bed and couch, plenty of chopped wood to build a fire, the list goes on and on! Loved our stay! »

« Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. « Had a great time! My only concern was checking in and our code was incorrect. There was a nice man there that took care of us, but I wasn't sure at the beginning if he really worked there. I wonder if name tags for employees would be a good thing. That said, the entire staff was very professional and courteous. »

« The good: The property was very nice. The kitchen and seating area were roomy and well equipped. Beds were comfy.
The bad: Ground floor does not mean no steps. The entrance is on the basement level, so a flight of stairs is required to get to the room. There is a side door on the ground level that can be used to exit, but it does not have a code device for re-entry.
There is basically no parking (only 3 spots) at the facility, so parking is about 3 blocks away in the public lot by Town...
