Surrounded by oak trees, it was easy for us to name this location Oak Tree Hollow! We are less than a mile from the Sequoia National Park entrance and have spectacular views of Morro Rock—plenty of space for you and your family pet to enjoy during your visit to the national park. The house's layout is very open, with cathedral ceilings in the living room and dining areas; the master bedroom offers a private setting as it stands alone at one end of the house. The wood-burning stove is visible to guests in the dining and living rooms. Plus, our amenities include WiFi, Cable television, a fully stocked kitchen, and all linens and towels are included. The front yard is large and gives you plenty of space to throw a ball around, and the back patio gives extra privacy from the main road. The kitchen offers plenty of counter space to cook fabulous dinners for your friends and family. A large pantry provides extra space to store your food during your visit, so there is no need to leave grocery bags full of food on the counters. Unpack and stay a while! The kitchen offers a bar area, perfect for other family members to sit and socialize with the family's "Chef" while staying entirely out of the way! The master bedroom is on one end of the house, and the other two bedrooms are on the other end, which gives mom and dad great privacy from the children or grandma and grandpa from the rest of the family! The master bedroom provides a king bed, a seating area for reading your favorite book, and plenty of closet space to store your belongings. Please note that the bathroom is not attached to the master bedroom. A door off the dining room separates the hallway, leading to the master bedroom. During the day, guests can easily access this bathroom without traveling through the bedroom. You can close the dining room hallway door at night; the bathroom is yours! On the other end of the house are the guest bedrooms. One bedroom has twin beds, perfect for the children, and the other has a queen bed. Both rooms offer plenty of closet space for your personal belongings! A queen-size air mattress is available for an additional two guests or eight people. The second bathroom is located in the hallway and is easily accessible for all guests staying in the house. The back of the house offers a patio table, multiple chairs, and a propane BBQ. This area separates you from the main road and provides a peaceful setting for the gorgeous Oak Trees found in this area. The rooftop patio has plenty of space for everyone to hang out! Play some cards, drink a glass of wine, read a book, and most of all, enjoy the view! The kitchen and outdoor gas grill were great. The A/C never failed to cool the house, including the large open space, even with the over 100 degrees temp outside. We all used the outside hose by the car park to spray off the dust from our legs and boots after hiking - a nice surprise and delight. The reason this listing is not getting all five stars is the uncomfortable mattresses. Two of the seven people in our party had sleep issues due to mattresses. ##### Kirsten C. A beautiful well kept property with everything you need. My family and I had a wonderful time. We enjoyed seeing wild turkeys and deer in the yard. And it’s very close to the park entrance. The air conditioning worked great which was lovely considering how hot and dry it was when we visited the national parks. Having a washer and dryer accessible made our packing light and easy. The rooftop deck was a nightly hangout spot to watch the stars. Very spacious living room to all hang out. We would definitely visit here again! ##### Natalie N. My wife and I just spent five days there, using it as a springboard to visit the Park. The amenities are plentiful, the grounds beautiful, the kitchen well supplied, and the property managers extremely responsive. Loved the house and the areas, very close to the park and the house was very well equipped. There were 6 of us and the house was very spacious.Close proximity to the little town with nice brewery. Even the outside tables were clean! I appreciated the detailed communication before and during our stay, and the binder that had useful information such as a hard copy of the check out instructions. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, a few spices, etc. It had everything we needed. The AC worked great and the ceiling fans also helped us stay cool. Although it is on the road leading to Sequoia National park, which can be busy at times, it was set far enough back that the road noise wasn't an issue for us. It was pretty quiet inside, though that may not be the case if windows were open. We did go up to the roof top patio the first night, but we never spent much time at that table or the table in the back, we primarily used the inside table. It is nice to have options, and when the weather is cooler the outdoor tables could be fantastic. We didn't use the TV, but we appreciated the ice maker in the freezer and the washer and dryer. The beds were not the most comfortable, but they are okay. It was nice to have three separate bedrooms for my family. There was enough room for us to have some space alone when we needed it. The sitting area in the master was nice, there was plenty of closet space and room to sit or move around. If we ever go back to Sequoia we will definitely try to stay here again. ##### Matthew M.
