The sequoia is the largest and oldest tree in the world and walking amongst these giants made me feel like I was on the set of Jurassic Park. If you are making the trip to Yosemite, save another day or two for this amazing National Park which along with Kings Canyon are two great destination's, enjoy!

« The cottage is a very comfortable place to stay, and we were sorry when our 4 days there came to a close. Communication with the property owners is probably the best I have ever experienced. The location is quite stunning in terms of its natural setting. The drive to the market in town is not that bad.You'll see plenty of turkeys quail, and elk in the neighborhood, not to mention downey woodpeckers all over the place. And supposedly it can get more exotic than that, though we never personally...

It’s at the northern end of Napa Valley, but still close to lots of nice vineyards and restaurants. Favorite vineyards—Château Montelena, Sequoia Grove, and Ledson(Sonoma Valley). »

« We have rented many properties across Europe and the United States, but I can honestly say that this was one of the nicest we've stayed in. It was beautifully decorated, very clean and extremely comfortable and spacious. The pictures just don't do it justice. Everything we needed was supplied, even hand soap at every sink. And the creek out back! We couldn't get enough of it! Would love to return again some day. »
