I'll say this property was a little piece of heaven because of its proximity to the beach. Moreover, the beach is not saturated with tourists. The apartment itself was well kept. My only complaint is that there was a stain on one of the sheets in the smaller room; next time I'll bring my own sheets. I was also a bit disappointed with the breakfast because there was no protein; you have to pay extra for eggs. Still, the lady responsible for the breakfast was a breath of fresh air, and the croissants and chocolate bread were the best I've ever tasted. I did not meet the owner because I had arrived so late, but his representative, Denis, was courteous and so helpful. You call, and he responds right away. I've fallen in love with Guadeloupe and plan on vacation there every year. And yes, I really love this place; I had a wonderful time. Even my elderly mother enjoys the place because the beach is accessible by car. Touba Manga delivered, and next year I plan on staying there as well. Thank you, Denis, and the Breakfast lady (whom I'm embarrassed to say that I forgot her name) for making my stay so pleasant.

La propreté de la chambre, ça passe. L'entretien laisse un peu à désirer. Télécommande sans capot des piles 🤔 bon on s'en fou un peu, les jalousies coincées qui ont du mal à s'ouvrir, bon c'est un peu plus embêtant Le canapé convertible des années un peu lointaines ou il ne vaut mieux pas s'asseoir, bon devant la baie vitrée, c'est dommage. La piscine belle et avait l'air pas mal mais pas utilisée. Le parking fermé et gratuit top. Les jardins top de jour comme de nuit. Le restau très joli, fermé le soir, dommage et non précisé avant la réservation. Maintenant le petit déj 🤔 le café ok, le jus ok, les yaourts ok, le pain ok, les viennoiserie repassées moins ok, la charcuterie pas ok du tout, les fruits... Mais l'emplacement est très top.

Attention, alors que nous croyions avoir loué un hôtel, il s'agit plutôt d'un appartement privé dans un hôtel. La prise en charge a donc été très pénible. Sinon, l'appartement (ou plutôt la grande chambre) est très bien. Propre et bien équipé. L'hôtel offre plusieurs services, mais vous n'aurez pas accès à tout si vous n'avez pas le bracelet approprié. Nous étions en basse saison, alors plusieurs restos fermés ou à heures réduites. Très chers. Presque pas d'animation. POINT FORT : Le personnel est génial. Gentil, courtois, efficace et toujours souriant POINT FAIBLE : Ce n'est pas de la faute de l'hôtel, mais la plage est un désastre. Immensément de sargasse. Et de toute façon, la partie délimitée est peu profonde et a de gros massifs rocheux. Ne comptez pas y nager.

We had an awesome time staying at La Toubana! The set up of the resort on the cliff side is very unique….. having a pool up top overlooking the sea and beach below offers the best of both worlds. They have done a great job of making each bungalow feel secluded utilizing the elevation of the cliff and foliage of the land. Bungalow 19 had a great view of a small cover and cliff side but also the southern tip of Basse-Terre in the background. This resort is on the smaller scale and more intimate, if you’re looking for busy nightlife this is not the place. At one point we had the pool to ourselves for close to 2 hours. Drinks and food are a little on the higher end compared to what can be found outside the resort. I would recommend getting a rental car to explore the islands as the resort has free parking. Overall an amazing experience and would totally recommend and even come back!

Very old hotel
