"This is a well kept beautiful home inside and out. The views are gorgeous, either from the deck or poolside. Lots of bird activity around the water. Well equipped clean kitchen and thought put in to the little things you might need overall. Great place to relax and enjoy the wonderful property. The owner manager Shannon is very available and responsive if needed. Could not recommend this listing more highly!"

"The property and staff services were excellent. One improvement would have been to include an in-room or master bathroom instead of a separate room in the shared hallway. A second improvement would be the addition of a luggage or passenger lift to the second floor quarters."

"Quaint Quarters is a beautifully decorated, spacious, and comfortable cottage to stay in for a getaway to Colonial Beach. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and we loved sitting out on the big front porch in the evenings. The fireplaces in the family room and master bedroom with an option to turn off the heat and just have the muticolor flames for ambiance were a nice extra touch. The fenced yard provided plenty of room for our dog to play and to rest in the cool grass. Views of the river were just a few blocks away and we enjoyed the proximity to the beach and boardwalk. We would definitely stay here again if in the area."
