"The hotel was easy to find and the free car park was good. The location is good, just a short walk in to the centre of Canterbury. Staff were helpful but the hotel is a bit 'tired'. I think some refurbishing is going on as the reception area and bar looked clean and modern but the rest had shabby carpet and worn out fittings & fixtures, e.g. our shower rail (the shower was over the bath) was very rusty. However, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was good."

Highly recommended"

"Our room had a few issues when we arrived. It was cold, the water didn't drain away very well and the tv handset couldn't adjust the volume on the set, which was too high. Within 15 mins of reporting these issues, they had replaced the handset, cleared the sink and brought up a small radiator (and explained how the thermostat worked) The room was was clean and comfortable and the included breakfast was good with plenty of options. Would definitely stay there again"

The space itself is compact but has everything you need — a cozy kitchen/lounge area, comfortable bedroom, and clean bathroom. It’s beautifully secluded and feels like you’re tucked away in the middle of nowhere — peaceful, quiet, and magical. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and escape! "
