Room was lovely very spacious and cleaned daily with amenities stocked up. Water temperature and pressure was lovely. Hotel location was ideal with 24 hour reception staff. Hotel was secure and had no problems with noise at all. Only downside was breakfast - continental breakfast was not up to par and not enough options for those who cannot eat full English e.g. bacon,sausages,eggs

Location central. Short walk to the Canterbury Cathedral , easy access to walk on the Wall close by that surrounds the old town.. Lots of shops and places to eat. The walk to the hotel was longer than anticipated but was much more pleasant on the way back to train station back to London being more relaxed knowing the route. Highly recommend visiting Canterbury. Recommend staying two days to see Canterbury.

This beautiful hotel is centrally located in Canterbury, close to all amenities, cathedral, theatre, restaurants, train station, hotel is beautiful and clean and staff very attentive, we will be back

Rooms are fine but could use a bit of freshening. Our bed was comfortable and the location was quiet. The continental breakfast was a huge disappointment. Several things were not available and what was served was just okay. The front desk staff are superior and they were very helpful with any questions we asked. The location makes this hotel a wonderful choice but don’t expect great food.

Nice light and airy room, location perfect, staff very pleasant, hairdryer didn’t work so they replaced immediately. Someone had their tv on all night next door which wasn’t the hotel’s fault obviously, but slightly annoying, could hear through wall. Breakfast was pleasant but very limited without paying extra. Overall, the hotel was great for our one night stay in central Canterbury.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel and the perfect location for exploring Canterbury! ❤️ The Abode is literally in the heart of the city, with everything right on your doorstep and within easy walking distance. The hotel itself was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly polite, accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt really welcomed. Had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend The Abode to anyone visiting Canterbury! ✨

Great location. 5 min walk to every place you’d want to visit. Great A/C. Spacious room. Helpful staff. I’d definitely stay here again. Only negative is the included breakfast is very light.
