Room was comfortable and spacious. Good views from the window. Do note that if you are driving, the parking lot is about 10-min walk. The staff can help you carry the luggage on motorcycle, but you have to walk. A basic breakfast was included every morning and was hand delivered to us. The host was very helpful and communicative, even transported our luggage from the taxi area to the room. Although there was a water leak in one of our rooms due to the heavy rains, the hosts were very quick to help us out. We stayed for 4 nights in the “Family Room” and everything was perfect. The hosts were eager to help with anything and really went above and beyond. The unit itself is fantastic with an even better view than any of the restaurants in town that are known for having great views (so make sure you plan a meal to bring back takeout). The location also can’t be beat and is at the end of Jiufen Old Street. It’s just past the most crowded areas so it’s perfect for easy access to the best spots but far enough away once it’s time to relax. Check out the plum wine place across the alley too. They will let you sample and they also sell bottles of vodka and whiskey if you’re looking for a nightcap while enjoying one of the best views in town from the privacy of your own room.
