The rooms are spacious and very clean. The best part was the infinity pool and gym. Staff was attentive and there to open car doors for us. It is about a 10 mins walk to get on the Green Line which will take you to The Pier2 Art Center. The staff were helpful and polite. The views of 85 sky tower and the Barbour are spectacular from the pool and the main reception area. The pool area is relaxing and also had a live band in the evening which was a nice surprise. The room was comfortable and relaxing, we had a king size room with bath tub and would highly recommend it with a great view. I had a great room (Japanese tea room) that had a raised tatami area with excellent tea and a nice tea set. We made use of the tea set our first morning and loved the setting, with a view of the city while we sipped our tasty tea. As wonderful as the hotel is, there is one negative that is a dealbreaker for me, so I will not be back. Tai has the most inefficient elevators I have ever experienced. During busy times, prepare to stand in a long line to get out of the hotel. At checkout, we waited over ten minutes for an elevator.
