It is centrally located, easy access to MRT and the hotel has a shuttle to the MRT as well at specific times. Many good restaurants and a night market are in walking distance. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. The staff excellent, friendly, and cheerful. The breakfast which we had included with our rate was very good. Had only 1 issue and that was occasionally I could smell a slight musty odor just in the corner of the room but no where else and the smell didn’t travel into the room and it wasn’t all the time. It may have been that we were on the top floor and there is a roof garden? I sometimes smelled the same smell in the 7th floor seating area outside of the elevators. I never smelled it on the other floors. If I were to return to Taipei I would definitely stay there again but would ask for a different floor. We were very pleased with our choice to stay there. A side note, the pastry shop connected to the hotel is a great place to grab a latte and also their pineapple cakes make a perfect gift. They are packaged beautifully and taste so good. The breakfast has an array of items to choose from. I did have to ask that the bacon be cooked more thoroughly and they had no problem accommodating my request. The doorman was always ready to offer an umbrella to take with you if there was rain in the forecast. That was a very pleasant surprise. The fitness center was another plus for this hotel, especially after that breakfast.
