This is a no frills hotel but for the one night it worked. It was a short walk to a small night market that was great. In the morning there were several choices for breakfast including Starbucks and several restaurants. Staff was friendly and spoke enough English to help us get through check in and check out with only English speakers in our party. The one problem was locating the hotel as it doesn’t come up correctly on google maps. We showed the driver the address at the airport and we’re dropped off miles away from the hotel. We had to get a second Uber and just used the name of the hotel and not the address and he drove to the front door. They always greet and are very informative. The area is convenient to everything. It right next to a 24 hour convenient store and it is a block away to famous Shida night market, which has great food stalls and hole in the walls type restaurants to cover you from breakfast to supper. It is also 15 minute walk away to MRT stations. There is a 24-hr supermarket and a police station next to it. It's close to the Shiida night market and Shiida University. The walk to MRT station is about 10 min. Room space is more than adequate at this price point. Wish the bathroom had more hangers for towels and the mattress can be softer. Cons: 1) The room was very humid and smelled due to the high humidity. The fact that it has no windows makes things worse. 2) The wifi was fairly unstable. I had to travel and work during my time there, and it did not allow stable connections. You might need to reconsider if you need good wifi for meetings online. 3) One has to walk about 1km to go to the closest MRT station.
