We had a fantastic stay at Casa Pazos in Arbo, Pontevedra. The owners, Jay and Leanna, are incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel at home from the very first moment. The breakfast was delicious, made with fresh, natural ingredients, and absolutely worth it. Our room was spotless, as was the bathroom—everything was very clean and well cared for. The location is peaceful and quiet, with a spectacular view that makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We also really enjoyed the wine they offer, which is excellent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and genuine hospitality. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is excellent quality for the price it is unmatched. We stayed at the apartments which were quite big and had 2 separate rooms and 2 toilets. Breakfast buffet was nice as well

There was initial disagreement over how many rooms we had booked that would have been resolved quickly if a representative of the hotel were on premises. Host, who could be reached only by phone, insisted that AC worked in the hotel, when it did not. Once resolved, the AC stopped sometime in middle of night. On positive note, public spaces and guest rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the hotel is just steps from the ocean. Certainly not the fault of the hotel, but there is no Uber or Lyft service in the area, and the main part of A Guarda is up a long hill, facts to consider if you are on foot.

The hotel location is great, a few minutes away from the beach. The reception staff gave a friendly and helpful welcome. I was there for an overnight stay so can only comment on the room. I was in a triple room with no view. The room was dated with bedding that had seen better days. Noise travelled easily through the walls and overall it was not the best night's sleep.

If you want a rural experience, with home cooked food and friendly hosts, this is the place for you. It is however, a twenty minute taxi ride into Baiona and the internet service is spotty. It was our first night of travel and the lovely meal, bottle of wine and balcony view was most welcome.
