We left our towels on the floor before leaving the room in the morning, expecting them to be changed. However, when we returned in the evening, all the dirty towels had been hung back up on the racks as if they were clean. Unfortunately, we only realized they were still dirty after we had already used them to shower. When we went to the lobby to address this with the tall woman at the reception, she responded aggressively, stating, "It's not like you wash your towels every day at home." When we asked if this was how they treat their guests, she replied, "I don't care what you do, it’s none of my business." Aside from the terrible service, the rooms were extremely small—there was not even enough space to open a second suitcase—and there was no view. The breakfast was mediocre and nothing special. Overall, the hotel offers very poor value for money, but the unprofessional and rude behavior of the receptionist was particularly upsetting and unacceptable.

Very clean hotel. The staff were really nice. The beds are really hard though. But otherwise a very quiet area.

The hotel doesn’t have a drop off area or any luggage trolleys, pity the receptionist was curt, abrupt, non informative and dismissive. The hotel appears old and struggling to keep up with travellers requirements. The room was old cashing a good size and clean with aircon. The bathroom was big but the window didn’t work and was screwed open, I asked straight away for the window to be fixed and a handle put on the window as it was also missing. I was told the engineer would come but six days later nothing changed. I saw no management at all. The breakfast staff and cleaners were all delightful. The biggest problem was the pool was discoloured and cloudy and staff had put up a sign (probably weeks before) advising it was still safe to use. We and several others were not going to risk health conditions. The weather was 35 degree plus and we desperately need a pool. In the end we travelled about 15 minutes outside Castelsardo and found lovely beaches. I would recommend using a different hotel. The other reviews said about paper thin walls, this is true. Good point was the seaview and the breakfast.

Very comfortable stay, staff was tremendous. Short walk to beach and comfortable pool area. Restaurant served good food with friendly staff.

Once we arrived, every interaction with the staff at the front, the restaurants, the pool, actually everywhere was wonderful. In fact, there were so many people who made our stay special that it became impossible to remember every name—we wish we could thank each of them personally. The natural beauty surrounding the resort is breathtaking. The crystal-clear sea, peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful gardens created the perfect place to relax and enjoy precious family time. This trip was especially meaningful because it was our daughter’s last family vacation before she begins her professional career next year. Thanks to everyone at Abi d’Oru, it became a truly unforgettable memory that our family will cherish forever. We also love the beautiful souvenir from the hotel, which we will treasure as a reminder of our wonderful stay. Thank you to everyone at Abi d’Oru for making us feel so welcome. Your smiles, kindness, and hospitality made this one of the happiest experiences of our lives. We cannot wait to return someday.
