Despite the very weird layout (you need to go up to the second floor to get back down to the first). There isn’t really any staff. Cleaners yes and someone sits at the desk for a few hours. It’s one of those annoying techie hotels where you do most of the work and check yourself in. This was annoying but not as bad as the sound insulation. We had the displeasure of listening to our upstairs neighbour flush their toilet and have a shower. It sounded like the water was coming into the room. Sound from outside the room from both neighbours and the hallway was crazy loud. The cotton bag the hairdryer came in was covered in black mould. There was also finger marks on the windowsill outside making it look like someone was trying to get in.

Hotel is amazing, looks recently refurbished. Breakfast is incredible, lots of local options and additional options for order. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also really popular and we would highly recommend. The staff are super friendly and really helpful, from the offer of the welcome drinks, booking our return bus tickets to always being available to help with any request. The location is spot on if you’re planning on going to San Sebastián for the Pintxos, right in the heart of the old town. Loved it!

A great location and value pension in San Sebastian. Staff were so helpful with everything. Room had fridge ,micrwave and kettle. Clean throughout. Nice details like tea and coffee provided and lots of local info displayed. Excellent pension .
