"Wonderful staff, large rooms, great location "

"First off when you book it say you will get an email that never happen, then when you get there the address is wrong, so when I called them they asked for my email address for the instructions got that then we realized we are at the wrong address when we get to the room the floor was wet looked up and the roof was leaking called them back and they said use the extra towels for the floor we can’t move you because we are sold out. The place is nice when we was walking out we saw a lady trying to call the place because they didn’t received the email either so I let them in and told them good luck. This place needs security at night there was a guy trying to kick down the front entrance door then when he got inside he was trying every door to get in mind you it was 1am if your a light sleeper like me the room doors are thin and the light from the court yard never goes out and your room I literally brighten all night long terrible experience "

"Front desk stated they would give us refund because my son was not old enough to check in. When Expedia contacted them they denied the claim. "

"If you like a place with uncomfortable beds, dingy unkempt rooms and little or no hot water, then this is your hotel! After two days of super short like luke warm showers and almost no sleep due to traffic noice, pedestrians screaming while walking by and city trash trucks, we are happy to be gone. Recommend carefully reading the reviews on this place. That said, the location is nice and the young staff are pleasant. Their argument that the hotel is do old it can’t have the proper infrastructure needs refinement. A hotel should be clean, provide hot water and muffle at least some of the noise from other rooms, the hall and the street. "

"Alma San Juan is an excellent choice for sold San Juan. Gorgeous property. My only complaint is that the water in our shower did not get hot enough. It was lukewarm if that."

"Not for us. Noisy at night with bars, clubs, and drunk people, sometimes within the locked, gated premises. Very steep ladder to bed in loft. My wife had to sleep on the sofa couch below because she was not comfortable on the ladder. Although initial correspondence from the manager was good, there was no follow-up to address our concerns. Apparently, after speaking with other arriving guests, this was their experience as well. On the plus side, if none of the aforementioned issues is of concern, the location in Sn Juan Antigua is very walkable to most of the area."

"The room was very clean. A/C worked great. Very nice facilities. The area around the hotel had many shops and eating venues within short walking distance. It also was a short walking distance to the San Cristobal Fort/Castle."
