"I loved that old cottage and am glad it is in good use. It's nicely furnished and the village where it is situated is delightful. Two negatives were the dog smell in the lounge and poor state of plants in pots. While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression. "Lovely clean room. Great that you can turn the shower on without having to reach into the shower and get wet. Staff friendly and welcoming. Checked for us to see if room was ready so we were able to check in early. So happy to be close to the Exeter Chiefs ground, very handy. Lovely bar area, good choice of bar food and drinks. Definitely would stay again and would recommend. Great that the parking is free also. "
