« We loved staying here with family. We enjoyed being able to use the kitchenette when we had energy to cook (!) and stay in this cosy cottage together. Location is great and there was plenty of parking around the area too »

« We had a great stay, the accommodation was comfortable and clean, the hot tub was a great feature and so relaxing. the grounds are quiet and we were visited by some chickens too! Perfectly located for a break from every day life, just 5 minute drive to the town and half an hour to the beach. « The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain. »

« The ability to get to restaurants etc in the harbour was poor as very long way down and steep climb up. No smart TVs no Spotify on Alexa and the request to leave apartment clean was unacceptable as would have better service from a hotel and the price paid was high end and expectations were not met. »

« Despite the complex instructions to find the cottage, it was fairly easy. (A quick look beforehand on Google Street View helped!) Found it best to park the car first in the Freshwater car park as you exit the harbour up the hill. This is a long stay car park costing approx. (August 2024) £10 for 24hrs. It's worth buying a permit for the week as it is valid in other car parks in the whole of Torbay too for when you trip out. It's an easy flat walk from here (and you may get a glimpse of seals...

« A very good apartment. Noisy at night as on a main road with lots of traffic and police sirens. Complicated equipment dishwasher and washing machine. There was no welcome pack to tell you how to operate equipment and facilities available . No explanation about what to do with rubbish. This could easily be rectified by hotel management. »
