Forfaits vacances – Staley

If a traveler is one who can appreciate wonderful history of a given area within any town, who marvels at the architecture of the early 1900's, who respects the work to refurbish and maintain a nearly 100 year old home, is charmed by the landscape and relishes calm, civility and old luxury........this is the place to stay. Sans a few quirks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt transported back to the roaring '20's. The only think they we would have liked to have enjoyed, was a breakfast vs a continental menu. We met one of the owners and he was gracious with his time and key historical notes regarding the house and previous owners.

Very nice and safe place

The property is beautiful, nice spa, workout room and pool area. The food from the restaurants was delicious. The room was very comfortable. A very nice stay, thank you!

The hotel looks like it was built in the 90s and hasn’t been updated since. It had an odd smell to it and the carpet in the hallway was extremely dirty. The breakfast was by far the worst of any of the 6 hotels we stayed in during our road trip. The room itself wasn’t terrible, but if you need accessibility, DO NOT STAY HERE! The room had a roll in shower, but the shower head was fixed to the wall about 8 feet in the air and the bathroom was very small. My wheelchair is very small and even I had trouble moving around in the bathroom because it was so small. I don’t use the grab bars, but there weren’t any bars in useful places either. The only one was behind the toilet. Even the room itself was small and hard to move around or turn around in. I highly doubt that anything about this room meets ADA requirements.
