"Great place if you’re on the road and need a cool spot to get some rest. This is an old school motel in a small mountain town that is clean, comfortable, with a great and friendly staff. And a great sandwich shop right next door. Highly recommend."

The food truck was so close and easy, we loved the coffee place in town and the bakery was to die for - all walking distance. We even got some snuggles from the neighbors dog when we were outside enjoying our coffee.... loved every min. "

"We enjoyed being able to walk off the property into National Forest and that it was secluded (good for the dog, who has a hard time around strangers). We saw a good amount of wildlife, large and small. Great place to stay if your goal is to get away from home and find some peace and quiet. Not particularly close to major tourist attractions, but convenient if you wanted to climb some of the 14ers between Breckenridge and Fairplay."
