"Our stay was for a nearby family event however many of us stayed at the CRCR. We all agreed the rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and we had fun at the pool patry. Also appreciated the free valet parking and free waters. Areas to improve: 1. the outdoor signage is too small print which is especially difficult to read at night. The arrows pointing direction are much too small. 2. No ventilation in the bathroom. 3. Room service was not available. Overall, we would return to the CRCR."

"We had to cancel our reservation the day before due to family care conflict. We were devastated but figured our plans were shot. Long story short we were able to proceed with our concert and although we canceled within the 24hr window, the Gateway hotel refunded us our original canceled reservation, booked us another room with no hassle at all. Our first time staying here and from setting, to staff and room everything was top notch and clean/ inviting. The pool area/ jacuzzi were very nice and quiet. How the staff and property worked with us last minute was exceptional and much appreciated. My wife and I will 1000% be back, do yourself a favor and check out this Hotel and the surrounding shops. You won’t be disappointed! "

"This is a small charming historic hotel in Groveland owned and run by a local couple who are very helpful, super welcoming, and personable. Each room is a little different - quaint and much more fun than a boring hotel. The cozy lobby has a fridge for guests, a few tables as well as lounge seating. One can also sit on the balcony or spread out in back. Bed was comfortable, AC kept the room cool. We stayed two nights - very much enjoyed it and we will be back. Groveland is appr. 30 minutes to the park entry, not including any wait which varies by date/time and offered some dining choices and a food market. "
