Cute Dutch colonial-style hotel within easy walking distance of Smith College. A bit farther to downtown Northampton, but still doable. The rooms were clean and looked recently updated. Reasonable prices - would stay here again.

I can't say enough good things about The Ellery Hotel. Every time I stay, the property is spotless — the rooms, common areas, and amenities are consistently clean and well-maintained. The Ellery was the perfect place to stay overnight on a trip to Northampton. My friend and I spent an enjoyable day visiting the botanical garden at Smith College, and then had a wonderful dinner at HighBrow. The Ellery is a lovely property and I would stay there again if I go back to Northampton!
