Our room was clean and fresh. The king bed was super comfortable. The room layout was great; we had plenty of space. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Staff was extremely efficient. Overall, one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in!

This is a no frills place. If you’re looking for a cheap night or two, especially close to Excel, this is ideal. Everything is functional. Cleanliness could do with a little ramp up for my taste, but it was disgusting or anything like that. Walls are thin so you can hear other guests coming and going. Mattress on the bed wasn’t the best quality but I did sleep well. I would consider staying again because of the price point. As long as your not expecting the Ritz for what your paying it does the job.

The Belfry Hotel in Oxford was a major disappointment and nowhere near its supposed 4-star standard. The room was not properly cleaned, the bathtub and sink were visibly dirty, with waste water backing up when using the tap.
