"This comfortable cabin kept us cool after our adventures during the heat wave. Well stocked and nice furniture. We enjoyed our time. That road right before arriving the cabin needs attention. It should be just turned to gravel and the concrete pulled out. Big ledges and holes to traverse. As the listing said DO NOT rent this if you have a low clearance vehicle. Luckily we had 4x4 trucks."

"We loved our stay here. Very spacious, private, and clean, with comfortable beds. Has everything you need. You just need to get coffee, groceries, etc. Lots to do in the area. Only one bathroom but it was fine with us four adults. Loved my morning coffee on one of the decks but especially in the front on the rocking chair. Would definitely return! "

" It was a beautiful place. It has a big back porch you can drink your morning coffee and enjoy the breeze and listen to the water running down the creek. It also has a nice front porch where you can seat and watch the children play. We plan to come back with our gry. It's a great location we visited Jamestown, Cookeville down to Lynchburg. It's was neat and clean. "

"The house is not what we were expecting after looking at the photos. The house is historic, but it needs a lot of updating and has a very dark, old feeling. Bugs were found in the kitchen, front bedroom, and bathroom including small roaches, spiders, and stink bugs. The mattress in the front bedroom is an old spring mattress and very uncomfortable.
