Top Southern Iceland Hotel Reviews
Hótel Jokulsarlon - Glacier Lagoon Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property in an incredible location This was easily the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Iceland. The property itself is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and feels like a true destination rather than simply a place to spend the night. The location is fantastic, especially if you're exploring the South Coast. It's conveniently located near Diamond Beach, making it an ideal home base for exploring the area. One of our favorite features was the beautiful hot tubs. After a long day of exploring Iceland, there was nothing better than relaxing in the hot tubs and taking in the surroundings. I also highly recommend eating at the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent and made the overall experience even better. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Iceland, especially if you're exploring the South Coast and Diamond Beach."
Center Hotels Plaza
10/10 Excellent
"Everything clean"
Grandi by Center Hotels
10/10 Excellent
"The Grandi gets a 10/10 on every aspect that I consider during hotel research. The one consideration that one might take a second look at is location. While my wife and I are avid walkers, the distance you will find yourself from city central, the Harp and the most famous church in Iceland may give you pause. We walked to all of sights we wanted to see. Other may need to incur the cost of a cab or take the time to figure out their extensive bus system It was not an issue for us, because we always us the Hop On, Hop Off bus lines in all of our city travels."
Alda Hotel Reykjavik

"Helpful staff. Great location. Nice rooms"
CityHub Reykjavik

"Clean room. Friendly staff"
Hotel Vík í Mýrdal
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in Vik 7 years ago and I was very sad that the hotel we stayed in then was already booked. It all worked out for the best because we loved this hotel! There were so many dining options around as well as grocery stores and things to do. The breakfast that is included was amazing. They had many comfy areas to sit and enjoy a coffee or alcohol outside of your room or the dining area. We would look for this hotel again if we come to Vik next time we visit Iceland."
Vík Apartments
10/10 Excellent
"Right in the middle of Vik."
Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon
10/10 Excellent
"We love the Foss hotels. They're all uniquely positioned near great doing points on the ring road, staffed by very friendly people, and have fantastic amenities. Quiet, comfortable, and convenient."
Hotel Reykjavík Grand
10/10 Excellent
"This is. a great hotel to choose when visiting Reykjavík. My room was super quiet , welcomed after a long flight. The upgrade to king bed and the two free bar drinks was a nice touch. The front guest staff were. Super. Helpful when I ran into trouble working the many conveniences in the room. The included breakfast is excellent, so many selections and so welcomed when you are trying to be ready for early tours. Downtown was a bit more walk than I sensed when booking but if you choose the seaside route you see so many attractions along the way,"
