The comfortable & relaxing family atmosphere, gracious service, and Island hospitality enhance our spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath condominium rental located on Texas' most beautiful beach. The Tiki is ON THE BEACH and this lovely condo is just a one-minute stroll through the tropical pool/courtyard to the beach. It is located on the North end of the island. Walking distance to beach bars & restaurants. This is an ideal destination for swimming, bird-watching, para-sailing, surfing, sunning, boating, beach-combing, dolphin-watching, and bay/surf/deep-sea fishing. The condominium is beautifully equipped with a fully furnished kitchen for all your needs. A Keurig coffeemaker along with a variety of gourmet coffees are fully stocked and waiting for you. The master bedroom has a California king-size bed, and luxurious linens, and has its bathroom with a large, walk-in shower and is equipped with soft, comfortable robes. Both guest bedrooms are equipped with queen-sized beds. A guest bathroom with a tub/shower is located in the hallway between both guest bedrooms. The living room sofa can be converted into a queen sleeper sofa for additional bedding if needed. A dehumidifier is provided and adds to your comfort after a day in the sunny pool or beach. This unit is located on the 2nd floor ... Only one set of stairs, no elevator. There is also a private balcony/patio equipped with seating areas ...with a view of the tropical courtyard/pool area; and satellite TV with many channels to choose from. It is large and is close to the beach. It easily had plenty of room for two adults and two kids. Sometimes it is the little things, and the host seems to go out of their way with a fully stocked coffee selection and everything you could possibly need to cook. The in-unit laundry with some provided laundry soap was also super convenient. Everything about the stay, from the host reaching out to make sure we would be able to get into the unit, and the location was amazing. Everything mentioned was there. The location is great, beachside, restaurants very close by, weekend fireworks shot off at pier next door. Sit on the patio and watch. Don't have to join the crowds.Nice library on site for reading materials and puzzles to do. Swimming and water sports at the beach are difficult in winter months. Lots of wind and rip currents. Most of the tie a red flag for conditions! Spring break was easy to navigate. SPI has it planned very well so very few problems. Shopping near by. Condo pools were very warm 90F. We prefer much lower. If you are lucky able to watch Space X launches if scheduled during your stay. ##### Maureen C. Responsive Host Beach vibe with well thought out decoration throughout the place.Balcony had plenty of beach chairs/toys surf boards, lg thick beach towels, little ice chest. Kitchen had great island for gatherings. Kitchen accessories, plates, glasses, utensils, spices, oil, (check dates some expired) dishwahing soap, 1 roll paper towel, disinfectant wipes, dishwasher pods.The living room was cozy w/ large TV and some games. Access to 2 nice pools (heated after middle of October) The master bedroom with king size bed was large w/ small walking closet/shower. 2 bedrooms with queen size were smaller, closets had limited space. The queen bedroom by living room had nice clever "Ship" decor. Had TV 2nd bedroom by the kitchen was nice a/c blew very cold. Needed extra blankets to keep warm. No TV Both bathrooms had plenty of fluffy big bath,hand, body towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, 3 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom provided. Cons 2nd floor steep stairs. Place getting old, few issues with their old fridge and complex dishwasher needing a reset. Our host David, was responsive and quickly sent someone. Place was clean except for freezer, bathroom drawers had hair in them. The WI-FI is lagging. Used our "hot spot" Old small washer, noisy dryer. The king size beds fitted sheet kept on coming Living room got hot when cooking.
