Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort

"Beautiful property, Lux style, Great food and drink offerings. Great stand alone coffee shop and other niche shopping on site as well. Though beautiful and lux, it is really focused on great family and group vacations the remain on site (all in one stop; great golfing, great kids club, gym, and many available excursions via on site tour bookings). To really experience Fiji culture and Fiji life outside of of Denerau, you need to get away from the hotel and go out and see the rest of Fiji. As a review for just the hotel, It is top notch. A bit crowded but that is what you get at a resort of this stature."

Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts

"Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts is now our favorite beach resort of all time. We loved our Polynesian-decorated bungalow over the water with a mountain view and numerous reef fish, rays, and blacktip sharks swimming in the water below; the glass table/floor and windows that allowed us to watch the fish below our bungalow; and wide balcony with a table and chairs, lounge chairs, and our own personal ladder that went down into the chest-deep water in the beautiful lagoon. The service and food (especially the breakfast buffet) were excellent, their private beach and pool were uncrowded, my massage at the spa and the gym were high-quality and were located near a beautiful lake with purple flowers rising from lily pads, and we saw many different types of fish while snorkeling in the resort's coral garden. The resort sits on Motu Tevairoa and is only accessible to the main Bora Bora island by boat, but the resort provides free boat rides several times a day. The resort has some evening activities (e.g., an amazing traditional Polynesian cultural dancing show), kayaks, tennis, ping pong, a big chess board, an art gallery, and shops which sell clothes and souvenirs (but not snacks - if you want chips, etc. get those at the airport when you land, or at the grocery store on the main island). We highly recommend this amazing resort and hope to come back someday!"
