The staff at the Marriott were friendly and accomodating. The room was clean and well kept. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which was a bit expensive. We were near the main pool and that was nice for the kids. I wouldn't likely return to this location when I return to Fiji. There is not ocean access but rather only the lagoon. The food is OK but not great and is quite inconsistent and it is not easy to eat outside of the property. You have to travel far away from this property to access a good beach or better food and it really does require a car.

Dear Silvano, Unfortunately our stay, actually our whole groups stay was extremely disappointing. We booked the Marriott with the expectations that our stay would be at the high level of what would be expected from the Marriott and considering the price we and our friends paid. To be more specific: Food was average, we attended the banquet 2 nights and on both occasions the vast majority of the hot food was over cooked. The pasta from the lagoon bar was like sauce out of a can. The cocktails we all repeatedly either sent back or instructed the bartenders on how to make them. On our arrival the Spa informed us there basically booked out for close to 3 days. At the infinity pool on the two occasions we attended, we requested music, as did the majority of the patrons and we were informed the manager ( a lady ) doesn't like music and wont allow it !! On two occasions for over two hours there were no pool towels. The worst of all was the New Years function!! To expect guest to stand in a grass field in the pouring rain, with minimal coverage we all found appalling. These are just some of the instances where service from a 5 star hotel was we below standards. During our stay our group meet many other guest and their feelings and satisfaction level was the same as ours or even less. I would like to state that the staff were very good, and one could tell were doing their best. It was clear to us all, many who are business owners or company heads that the issues are not with the

It is a beautiful resort with plenty of daily activities, such as fire dancing, kava ceremony, coconut husking… Staffs are so friendly there, will definitely visit again
